Artist In Residence

Michael Brennand-Wood is internationally regarded as one of the most innovative and inspiring artists working in textiles. He makes elaborate, 3-dimensional wall-hung pieces that are part sculpture, part textile. This film presents a portrait of the artist as he works in his studio and explains his artistic rationale.

The film was commissioned by the Burton Art Gallery and Museum in Devon, to be shown in the museum along with a number of his works. Camera: Andy Gott.
