High Altitude Films

We love making documentaries, and have worked on some amazing films that have scooped awards at some of the biggest international film festivals. Of particular interest are social issues films, such as our award-winning ‘The World Naked Bike Ride', which combined a serious issue with a playful form of presentation. Other films have taken us to locations such as India with the making of Oscar nominated 'LittleTerrorist', Morocco with 'Talk Together'. For the BBC, and the Sundance Film festival with 'Sean and Samir go to Sundance'.

World Naked Bike Ride

This award winning film (Philadelphia Festival of Film and Technology, USA; Wildscreen Festival UK) follows the planning and success of a most unusual political protest. The World Naked Bike ride is a protest in favour of body freedom (being happy whatever shape, colour or size you are) and challenges our dependency on oil based fuels. The film was screened in venues around the world, watched by over 100,000 people online, and broadcast on GreenTV and the Community Channel UK

BBC Sean and Samir

This film was broadcast on the BBC Culture Show, and followed the progress of British film maker Sean McAllister at the Sundance film festival, where he won the Special Jury prize for 'The Liberace of Baghdad'.

Short and concise voyeuristic documentary about the cogs that sustain a society that has 24% of the world’s cranes.

Making of Oscar nominated 'Little Terrorist'

High Altitude Films have worked with a number of companies scripting, directing, shooting and editing 'Trailers and Making of Documentaries' for viral marketing and DVD Extras, such as the Oscar nominated short film 'Little Terrorist'.
